10 local indoor spots worth knowing
Golf season is back!
Between work, family, and a calendar that apparently hates your handicap, that’s not always happening.
But an hour? We can work with an hour.
This week, we’re highlighting 10 independently owned indoor golf businesses around the Valley. Places to build a practice routine, find a regular game, or finally turn “we should play soon” into an actual plan.

SCOTTSDALE
Ryder NDoor Golf
Husband-and-wife team Shawn and Mandy named this studio after their son, Charlie Ryder. The setup is personal, too: one TrackMan 4 bay, a putting green, and exclusive use of the space during your reservation. It’s a membership option for golfers who value privacy and 24/7 access.

Sticks & Stones Golf Studios
Your reservation gives your party the facility to itself. That makes Sticks & Stones worth considering for focused practice, a virtual round with friends, or a golf get-together where everyone knows everyone. Pick the game and settle the rules before the first mulligan request.

TEMPE
The Prickly Par
The Prickly Par is a locally owned, independent, members-only indoor golf studio in Tempe. Worth exploring if you want to make practice part of your week. Par Lab
Par Lab combines a private simulator room and lounge with memberships that include a monthly guided lesson. Coaching and swing analysis tools, including Sportsbox AI, help connect the numbers to a practice plan. Worth exploring if you’re putting in the swings but want more direction.

CHANDLER
Stinger’s Golf Club
Stinger’s combines simulator golf with food, drinks, and leagues. Its moving hitting platforms bring uneven lies into the experience, giving your group something extra to figure out. Golf, dinner, and another excuse for your buddy’s approach shot all under one roof.

NORTH PHOENIX
iSwing Indoor Golf
Five simulator bays, curved screens, a putting green, and a beer-and-wine bar keep iSwing busy all evening. Virtual courses, target games, and virtual mini-golf give even the least experienced player options, too. Lessons and leagues are also available.

Make an hour count.
My suggestion: choose somewhere close enough that you’ll actually go.
Check your wedge distances. Play nine with a friend. Find a league that gives you a reason to show up each week.
There’s value in getting better. It’s also worth putting your phone down and spending an hour focusing on your goals.
Which indoor spot should I know about?
