Fairways are closing, greens are glowing, and schedules are chaotic. Our 2025 Overseed Guide breaks down every Valley course by city so you know where and when to play.

Every good round starts with a great shot.

Mullys is a 2-oz functional shot designed by golfers, for golfers. With Lion’s Mane for clarity and hemp-derived THC for calm, Mullys helps you stay dialed in on the course and unwind after the round: no booze, no bogeys, no crash, just performance and vibes in a bottle.

2025 Overseeding Schedule

It’s that time of year again.

The grass is dying, the sprinklers are working overtime, and half of Scottsdale is about to shut down “for maintenance.”

Welcome to Overseed Season, a.k.a. golf’s most annoying yet necessary ritual.

Every fall, Arizona courses kill off the summer Bermuda and plant ryegrass so that your December photos resemble Augusta. But it’s a three-week scheduling nightmare, one wrong tee time, and you’re paying $110 to play mud.

So, to save you hours of research (and a few F-bombs), here’s your 2025 Overseed Schedule.

Scottsdale:

  • TPC Scottsdale Stadium: Sept 29 – Oct 19

  • TPC Scottsdale Champions: Sept 15 – Oct 1

  • Troon North (Monument): Oct 5 – Oct 23

  • Troon North (Pinnacle): Oct 13 – Nov 4

  • Grayhawk: Call for dates (they’re mysterious like that)

  • Camelback (Ambiente): Oct 13 – Nov 2

  • Camelback (Padre): Oct 6 – Oct 26

Tip: Don’t touch Scottsdale until Halloween. It looks like a construction zone until mid-November, but when it’s ready…

Phoenix:

  • Papago: Oct 13 – Nov 3

  • Encanto 18 & 9: Oct 20 – Nov 2

  • Legacy: Sept 20 – Oct 6

  • Arizona Grand: Oct 6 – Oct 27

  • Lookout Mountain: Sept 29 – Oct 16

  • Aguila: Oct 6 – Oct 19

Mesa:

  • Dobson Ranch: Sept 28 – Oct 18

  • Las Sendas: Sept 29 – Oct 20

  • Longbow: Sept 29 – Oct 12

  • Painted Mountain: Sept 29 – Oct 17

  • Red Mountain Ranch: Sept 22 – Oct 10

  • Augusta Ranch: Sept 30 – Oct 21

  • Superstition Springs: Contact course

Tip: Mesa goes early and recovers quickly. By mid-October, you’re rolling putts again. Longbow’s fairways might actually make you believe in irrigation miracles.

Chandler:

  • Ocotillo (Oasis/Sky/Blue): Oct 6 – Oct 19

  • Whirlwind (Cattail): Oct 6 – Oct 23

  • Whirlwind (Devil’s Claw): Oct 12 – Oct 24

  • Bear Creek (Bear & Cub): Oct 6 – Oct 21

  • Springfield: Oct 6 – Oct 21

  • Lone Tree: Sept 29 – Oct 16

Glendale:

  • Arrowhead CC: Oct 13 – Nov 4

  • Legend at Arrowhead: Oct 13 – Nov 4

  • Palm Valley (North): Sept 29 – Oct 17

  • Palm Valley (South): Sept 29 – Oct 25

  • Palm Valley (West): Sept 15 – Oct 3

  • Desert Mirage: Oct 6 – Oct 21

  • Peoria Pines: Sept 29 – Oct 10

Playbook for Fall Golf

1. Don’t trust Google.

Half those course websites are from 2019. Bookmark this instead.

2. Play early or go west.

Phoenix and Glendale are your best bets in early October.

3. Don’t rush back.

Rye needs two weeks to mature… otherwise, you’re just paying to paint your shoes green.

4. Use the Local Loop.

I built it to help you sort 150+ Valley courses by overseed status, price, and pace. It’s your new fall golf GPS.

Overseeding is annoying, but it’s what makes Arizona golf magic from November through April.
