Built for the golfers who play through the heat, chase twilight nines, and care about the craft. Why The Cactus Club exists, and what’s coming for Arizona golfers in 2026.

I wear Bad Birdie when I want golf to feel less country club, more confident. Born in Arizona, built loud, unapologetically modern. Polos, hoodies, fits that move with your swing. Cactus Club readers get hooked up.

Built for Arizona Golfers

I didn’t build The Cactus Club to chase clicks or scale fast.

I built it because Arizona golfers deserved something made for us, not marketed at us.

If you play here, you already know the deal. Sunrise tee times because it’s 95 by breakfast. Munis that get slept on. Public tracks that play harder than half the private clubs in the country. A competitive scene that’s deep and constantly grinding.

Why I Built The Cactus Club

I’ve spent my life inside this game, on the retail floor, behind the scenes, in tech, media, and golf shops. And everywhere I went, I saw the same gap.

Golf media talks about golfers more than it talks to them.

Especially here.

National outlets drop in for tournament week. Local content reads like a brochure. Influencer golf looks good on screen, but rarely helps you play better or understand the game.

Nothing felt built for the Arizona golfer who plays year-round, cares about performance, loves the culture, and doesn’t need the game dumbed down.

So I built what I wanted to read.

The Cactus Club is a player-powered golf media brand rooted in Arizona.

Not vibes-first. Not influencer-led. Player-first.

Who cares about their index, but also the people they play with.

What This Actually Is

Let’s be clear about what The Cactus Club is not.

It’s not a repost account.

It’s not a merch grab.

It’s not a content mill chasing algorithms.

It’s a focused community built around:

  • Local knowledge you can’t Google.

  • Content written by someone who actually plays here.

  • Events and experiences that respect your time and your game.

If you’re a golfer looking to improve, this is for you.

If you love golf culture but hate fake hype, this is for you.

If you want access, community, and insight that feels earned, not manufactured, you’ll feel it immediately.

And if you’re just here for free stuff with no intention of showing up?

This probably won’t stick. That’s intentional.

Why Arizona Golfers Need This

Year-round play. Elite public golf. A deep amateur scene. College players. Former pros. Lifers.

But we’ve never had a central place that connects all of it for the player.

We needed:

  • A weekly voice that understands the Valley.

  • A trusted filter for what matters and what doesn’t.

  • Events that feel competitive but welcoming.

  • Rewards that actually reflect how golfers play here.

  • A community that respects effort, curiosity, and skill.

The Cactus Club is built to be that connective tissue.

Arizona first. Always.

What You Get When You Join

You’re not just subscribing to emails.

You’re opting into an ecosystem.

Right now, that means:

  • A weekly newsletter explicitly written for Arizona golfers.

  • Local course insight that goes deeper than reviews.

  • Gear, training, and mindset content grounded in reality.

  • Access to giveaways, contests, and experiences that make sense.

  • Early invites to events before they go public.

Most importantly, you’re helping shape what this becomes.

This community is still early, and that’s the opportunity. The people who join now set the tone for everything that comes next.

What’s Coming in 2026

2025 proved the idea.

2026 is about expansion.

More Content, Sharper Focus

Next year, content gets deeper and more intentional.

  • More original Arizona golf reporting.

  • More performance and mindset pieces for competitive amateurs.

  • More access to the people shaping golf locally.

More Events That Matter

2026 is when this becomes more physical.

  • Twilight rounds, 9-hole competitions, skins games, pop-ups.

  • Smaller, tighter formats over massive cattle calls.

  • Events that feel local, intentional, and worth leaving the house for.

Better Prizes, Real Rewards

No filler giveaways.

  • Gear golfers actually use.

  • Access you can’t buy.

  • Experiences that feel earned.

The Long Game

I’m not building this for a quick win.

I’m building it to last.

The goal is simple:

  • Be the most trusted voice for Arizona golfers.

  • Build a community that protects its culture.

  • Create something that still matters years from now.

Why Join Now

The best communities aren’t loud.

They’re specific.

Joining now means:

  • Your voice actually matters.

  • You help define the culture before it’s crowded.

  • You get access before access becomes scarce.

Arizona golf doesn’t need more content.

It needs a better signal.

If you love this game.

If you play in this heat.

If you care about getting better.

If you want a golf community that feels real.

Welcome to The Cactus Club. 🌵
